Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the stunning views of the mountains and the pool area. The lobby's massive central space and spacious hallways leading to the many meeting rooms off of it are completed by an impressive Pueblo-style ceiling of wood beams and hundreds of vigas.
The sculpture is a prelude to the array of local art on display in the massive lobby - such as pottery, historic photographs, and Native rugs. A large bronze sculpture of a horned Pueblo dancer clutching a gourd greets guests at the hotel entrance. The Sandia sits in a spectacular, isolated location in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains within a six-story, Pueblo-style building.
